Nour Thai Kitchen & Bar is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We strive to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and we work continually to improve the experience for all of our guests.

We aim to respond to accessibility-related requests within two business days, and we will work with you to provide the information, service, or accommodation you need through an alternative method if necessary.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities, at three levels: A, AA, and AAA. Our goal for this website is to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Our previous website was independently certified to that level by Accessible Web on December 17, 2025 (see the certificate below). Following a 2026 rebuild on a new platform, this site has been built and internally reviewed to the same WCAG 2.2 AA standard, and an independent re-audit of the current site is in progress to formally confirm conformance.

Measures we take

Nour Thai Kitchen & Bar takes the following measures to ensure the accessibility of our website:

  • Engaging an independent third-party accessibility firm (Accessible Web) to audit and certify the site.
  • Designing for sufficient color contrast, full keyboard operability, visible focus, and descriptive links and image text alternatives.
  • Reviewing new and updated content and features for accessibility before and after publishing.
  • Inviting and acting on feedback from people who use our site.

How we assessed this site

Our previous website was evaluated by third-party expert review (Accessible Web), resulting in the December 17, 2025 certification. The current redesigned site has been evaluated by internal self-review against WCAG 2.2 AA and is undergoing an independent third-party re-audit. We will update this statement and publish the new certificate when that re-audit is complete.

Technical specifications & tested environments

Accessibility of this website relies on the following technologies to work with your web browser and any assistive technologies you use:

  • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • WAI-ARIA where appropriate for interactive components.

The site has been tested in current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge) on desktop and mobile, and with screen readers including VoiceOver. It is designed to work with assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnification, speech recognition, and keyboard-only navigation.

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some limitations may exist. Online ordering is provided through Lightspeed, reservations through OpenTable, and our location map through Google Maps; these third-party services open in a new tab and are governed by their own accessibility practices, which are outside our direct control. If you encounter a barrier on any of these tools — or anywhere on our site — please contact us and we will provide the information, service, or accommodation you need by an alternative method.

Applicable standards & laws

We aim to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This statement reflects our commitment and current status; it is not a legal declaration of conformance.

Ongoing effort

Accessibility is an ongoing commitment rather than a one-time task. We regularly review our site for color contrast, keyboard navigation, descriptive links, and screen-reader compatibility, and we welcome your feedback to help us do better.

We recertify with every major redesign.

Below is our most recent WCAG 2.2 AA certification from Accessible Web, issued December 17, 2025 for our previous site design. Following our 2026 rebuild, a re-audit of the current site is underway, and we will publish the updated certificate here once it is issued.

Accessible Web is pleased to provide an update on the recent accessibility upgrade to https://www.nourthai.com, a collaborative effort between Accessible Web and Nour Thai.

Our process began with a comprehensive WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility audit by Accessible Web of key pages of the site. Following the audit, we delivered detailed remediation recommendations for Nour Thai’s website. We are pleased to confirm that as of December 17, 2025, Nour Thai has addressed all recommendations. In instances where remediation was not technically feasible, the content was removed to maintain the accessibility of the user experience. Nour Thai plans to continue to work closely with Accessible Web to re-develop these components, ensuring that future updates adhere to WCAG 2.2 AA standards.

To maintain accessibility, Accessible Web recommends periodic manual audits of new or updated features and designs, and using Accessible Web RAMP to proactively monitor the evolving website. We also encourage the Nour Thai’s marketing team to integrate accessibility best practices into their content updates. Accessible Web is available to support Nour Thai’s future efforts.
